Anil Kapoor revives daughter Rhea's alleged boyfriend's debut film

Anil Kapoor's production house was backing a film titled 'Saat Hindustani,' which was later renamed to 'Saat,' which is the directorial debut of his daughter, producer Rhea Kapoor's alleged boyfriend Karan Boolani. However, due to high production cost and low viability, the project was temporarily shelved.

Now, according to recent reports, the project has been revived and Anil has been taking a keen interest in the project.A few changes have been made in the script. They had reportedly locked the cast earlier but are now looking for new faces. The movie will go on floors by the end of this year. The US schedule has been reduced from to 40 days 10 days.
Confirming the developments, Karan said that the film was never shelved. He also revealed that they are in the process of finalising the cast and completing other formalities.
Karan has assisted on 'Wake Up Sid' and 'Aisha' and is currently co- directing the second season of Anil's television series, 24. Buzz is that the Kapoors want Karan to get a good working knowledge as a director before he calls the shots for his own feature film.
